The editorial standards behind our guides and comparisons.
What we publish
YieldEarn.com publishes plain-language educational guides, worked examples, and planning questions about savings and investment yield. Core topics include CDs, savings APY, Treasury bills, bond yields, dividend yield, total return, fees, and timelines. The publication does not issue product ratings, personalized recommendations, or live offer rankings.
A page should leave the reader with a clearer definition, a transparent calculation, or a useful question to take to the provider's current documentation. We avoid unsupported superlatives and do not present a headline yield as proof of suitability.
Sources and attribution
We prioritize primary educational references such as official public agencies, regulators, and the issuer or institution responsible for the information. The source library explains the role of each reference. A source link is not an endorsement of that publisher's products or services.
Each Journal article includes one editorial outbound source link. Additional internal links connect related definitions and reading paths. Readers should consult actual account agreements, security documents, and current official information before acting on a general explanation.
Examples and factual boundaries
Numerical examples are hypothetical and labeled with their key assumptions. They are not current rates, expected future returns, or a record of investment performance. We distinguish APY from nominal interest rates, income yield from total return, and bank deposits from securities.
We do not invent customer stories, adviser credentials, awards, partnerships, or search-volume statistics. Statements about the website describe functions present in the published files. A tool or service is not advertised as available when it has not been implemented.
Dates and changes
An article displays a publication date, which is also used in its structured data and RSS entry. An explicitly stated review or modification date should correspond to an actual review or substantive edit, rather than a routine change to the calendar. The absence of a recent modification label is not a promise that a provider's terms remain unchanged.
Time-sensitive product facts are not carried as a live dataset. Our methodology therefore emphasizes reading current disclosures directly. Any material correction should update the affected explanation and its related structured data or feed content where necessary.
Corrections and reader feedback
Email [email protected] with the page address, the relevant passage, and the basis for a proposed correction. A precise issue and a source are more useful than an unspecific error report. We do not promise a particular response or revision deadline.
Never include credentials, account numbers, identity documents, or other sensitive information. Questions requiring personal investment, legal, or tax advice fall outside the publication's scope. Read the contact page for how to reach us and the disclosure for additional boundaries.
